Do you ever feel that YHWH has shown you something extraordinary, something that needs to be heard, and if you don’t share it with others, it will burst inside of you? I’ve certainly felt this way.
One day, I was flipping through my Bible, and a verse caught my eye. As I stopped and read, I was amazed at how the prophet Jeremiah poetically expressed his feelings when YHWH gave Him a word to speak. He described the Word of YHWH as “a burning fire shut up in his bones” (Jeremiah 20:9). Despite being mocked and ridiculed for declaring destruction, he could not hold the words back. The Spirit of Elohim moved him to cry out.
Passion for truth burns deep inside all YHWH’s prophets, giving them no moment of rest until the message is proclaimed. It is a wondrous honor and yet a heavy burden to be the voice of Elohim. I truly appreciate the prophets of old, whose words remain applicable to anyone who still listens.
The Prophet’s Voice Poem
How brave are they who can see a path with a painful trial And still choose to bring their feet through every mile How bold are they who speak the truth with blood and tears Even when they know their words will fall on deaf ears How blessed are they who fight when a battle’s begun When they will not live to see the victory won Behold, the sound of the prophet’s voice! Who laid down their lives to make a choice To carry a mantle that never grows old And invest in a treasure greater than gold So poor and needy, yet invincible To silence them would be impossible… As warriors, they reproved sovereigns and overthrew nations Like a walled city, they stood on an unshakable foundation In chains, in caves, in dark dungeons, they were outcasts Despised, rejected, mistreated—to Yah they held fast Like deer, they were hunted until the remnant was few Yet truth was their comfort; their courage was virtue Their actions were parables; their lives became their song As sojourners, to this world, they did not belong Yet the passion still burns; the warnings still sound Like music, it’s strong and sweet and profound If one would give a moment; if one would stop along the way If one would listen, the prophet’s voice can be heard today

Stunning truth @Craig! May we all come again to the well. Drink again profoundly of the Spirit & of the Life. Let the joy of salvation become our fire of boldness. Let the ancient cry of Hoshiana become our song, the song of Moses & the song of the Lamb, the song of the redeemed not just for deliverance, for rescue, but for release of the saving grace & truths of the love of God found in Yeshua Jesus to all whom Heavenly Father allows to cross our paths.
You are being empowered for this hour. Now it’s time to rise, filled with living water & with the living all consuming fire🔥 of the power of the spirit & authority found & given in Christ Jesus, to be the honourable vessel through which Heavenly father births His purposes upon this earth declaring boldly the glory of God.
Drink deep as you set forth ablaze with His controlled yet glowing fervour your assignment awaits to continue to shine Him boldly & courageously forth within the darkness, amongst a wicked crooked & perverse generation, as He, & then Christ in you light the way to Him as the people’s hope in the only one and way of salvation. May our voices today speak as God's oracles & His words to fill our mouths & be as the trumpet shofar blasts high upon His holy mountain as the ensign signaling and raising & flying high His banner of love for all to see. As His living sacrifices, holy, & well-pleasing to our father in heaven in our spiritual service. (Rom12:1)
Exodus 17:15, Moses built an altar and named it "The LORD Is My Banner" (Yahweh Nissi) after the Israelites' victory over the Amalekites. This name signifies that God Himself is the source of all victory and protection for His people, a banner under which all those His & all those who come to Him will find refuge and strength under the shadow of His protective wings, dwelling abiding & Hidden in Christ in God, in the secret place of the Most High.
As preachers of His righteousnessness, as ambassadors emissaries & representatives of our King of kings & the culmination of Almighty Creator God's redemptive plan & of the ushering in of His eternal kingdom. In the same manner of Noah, of Joshua, of Elijah, of John the baptist, of all the prophets of all the faithful men & women of God of so many a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us who have all gone before us & of Jesus Himself as our leader our commander our King sounding the alarm of His impending judgements too!:
“Their actions were parables; their lives became their song
As sojourners, to this world, they did not belong
Yet the passion still burns; the warnings still sound
Like music, it’s strong and sweet and profound
If one would give a moment; if one would stop along the way
If one would listen, the prophet’s voice can be heard today”
