The 144,000 is a group of people prophesied to live during the Tribulation.
In the book of Revelation, they:
Are sealed to be protected from judgment on earth (Revelation 7:1-8)
Are redeemed from among men (Revelation 14:4)
Follow Yahushua wherever He leads (Revelation 14:4)
Come out of the Great Distress (Revelation 7:14)
Cleanse themselves through the blood of Messiah (Revelation 7:14)
Are pure and undefiled (Revelation 14:4-5)
Worship at Elohim’s throne (Revelation 7:9-12)
Dwell forever in the eternal tabernacle (Revelation 7:15-17)
Revelation 7 and 14 have a lot to say about this group of individuals. From studying these chapters with many related prophecies, it appears that the 144,000 are the survivors.
They are those who live through the Tribulation and greet their Master face to face. The 144,000 is the remnant of the biblical “House of Israel”—those walking in covenant with YHWH through faith in Yahushua.
I wrote a poem to tell the prophetic story of this very special group of people. It follows the 144,000 as they are oppressed in the nations (Jeremiah 30:7), gather in the wilderness (Ezekiel 20:34-35), make a covenant with YHWH at the valley of Achor (Hosea 2:14-23), rest in a protected place (Isaiah 26:20-21), and then live on to dwell forever with their King.
May this poem give you hope as you await the return of your King.
We are a family of nine. We left our homeland to sojourn in the Middle East.
Through the prophetic scriptures, we have discovered an end-days calling for the protection of a remnant during the tribulation.
In this publication, we teach and share about our walks of faith.
144,000: The Remnant
Watching Waiting Praying “Let Your Kingdom Come!”
They hunger for truth As false prophets arise Confusion whispers Through wolves in disguise
They live In a realm behind screens Among neon gods The real self is unseen
Unsatisfied by the world’s bread Forced to partake So the body will go on And the soul won’t break
Grieved by lawlessness Tortured like Lot in Sodom They return to righteousness Seeking the light of dawn
No country No place To pledge allegiance They cry for heaven’s rest Awaiting promised vengeance
War Chaos Scarcity Digital slavery Diseases unknown before They search for answers Knock on salvation’s door
They hear The voice of the prophets Prepare the way In the wilderness A map for the last day
Repenting Returning A great assembly Their hearts set on Zion A city only faith can see
Away from distraction A Father’s discipline starts Washing away every idol Still hidden in their hearts
Pure Set apart Refined in the furnace Vessels of gold Given a new purpose
Behold, the Master The face of Salvation beams They follow the Shepherd’s staff Beyond the dragon’s stream
Trustful Obedient Vows of faithful love They sing Joined to their Husband Their King
Nourished Preserved Sealed with their Maker’s Name They rest in secret chambers Away from judgments’ flame
Transformed Radiant Like the moon at night Fine linen Sparkling white
No hunger No thirst No cries of strife Every tear dissolved In the fountain of life
They stand before the Throne Palm branches in hand A sea of glass Sacred harps The song of the Lamb
Cords of destruction Notes of redemption Their story ever told Sweet incense ascending An altar of gold
